COLONIAL Bell, 1918; Who Were They, an' Where?

I have seen several similar, with the markings all the same except for the more recent date...which I believe reflects the year of casting; it then follows, at least to me, that the 1832 date, which is constant across several examples, is the founding date of the foundry, or perhaps the initial date of the pattern. It's 4 1/2" diameter, 4" high; weight is ~20 ounces. The clapper is iron.

In my so-far-futile search for information about the foundry I run into lots of 'colonial' bells, but they're referring to that era, not the maker.

Are there any bell-gurus aboard? I am breakin' fingernails on this!
I've noticed that these don't generate much interest (nor money) on eBay...but if I can be better informed in my description, perhaps that will move the needle positively in my favor. Thanks for lookin'!
