Am clueless about the stones in this Mexico 925 set. The pendant is marked on the inside of the bail. The bottom pendant stone almost looks like petrified wood but don't think it is. Your help is greatly appreciated.

The bottom stone on the pendant looks like some type of jasper, top stone may be citrine. Earrings don't show anything to be specific.

Possible. Or pale carnelian. Jasper like that is sometimes called picture jasper. If it is a citrine & not glass, it will have started life as amethyst & been heat treated.

The guy who sets up next to me at the flea has fabulous Native American pieces. If he has one bracelet he has 75! Anyway, he has a ring and bracelet set, both including a clear yellow stone. In the bracelet it tests as citrine, in the ring it is glass.

So, find someone with a gem tester and have them tested. It is very rare that a stone can be accurately ID from a photo!!

    Hadn't thought about that.
    Picture jasper sounds reasonable.
    Good idea.

    Thanks for your help.
