I'd like to get an idea of age for this. As well as possible maker. The only stamp I can find is "Made in Japan" at the bottom of the teapot. And why so much crazing? Is this just a poor quality teapot? Thanks for any information :)

Hello Lisa......It is a Juicer, not a teapot. You would juice your oranges on it and pour right from the pitcher. It is a fairly common item from the 30's Probably. The made in Japan mark is about the best you are going to find out makerwise without another mark. If you go to eBay and search "Clown Juicer", you will see several styles and see what they are selling for.

    I agree with Bdigger
    1930s Reamer (juicer)

The crazing most likely occurred when it was washed in Hot water.
