I have a Polar Cub fan I bought last week.

    It's black metal.
On a couple blades it looks like some white paint was splashed on it.

What's a safe way to remove the white paint?

Just turn it on and you won't see them

The blade is likely done in acrylic. If the spatter is latex, methanol will soften if enough to get it off without harming the blade finish.
