Cigar Indian Dates

    There are 2 at this estate. One is way up high in the rafters, the other is about 4.5-5' tall.

    I know they are your traditional cigar store Indians from the 1800s, the quality just isn't there.
    Someone told me maybe the 30s, but I still don't know...

    What do yall think?

    That's what me and another person said.
    It almost looks like you can drive up to the mountains and see them now at those places.. but the other will just not agree.

    I didn't see a signature, which it is dark and I can not move comfortably around it where it currently sits.

    I don't think its brand new..
    Maybe 70s?

    I'm not sure when chainsaw art became a 'thing' but I'd say from the 70s until now. age is going to be a factor. If it was a real antique, that crack wouldn't matter, but since it's new, I think it will detract heavily from value. Whenever you are thinking of buying an item that you aren't sure of, it would be good if you had the time and could find an original of the item so you would have enough eyes-on experience to see the difference in quality in person.
