Featured chinese silk painting

does anyone know more about this, is that a signature written in the corner or a Chinese proverb? Quite well done, i ask partly because it was framed by a company that supposedly restores antique fine art pieces, though i suppose that itself tells you its not highly valuable

From the pics, looks like the support is paper, not silk.
It's a decorative painting, in the gongbi (meticulous/detailed) style, as opposed to the freehand inkwash style.
I'd say mass produced.

 

I assumed its silk without taking it out, its not paper you can see the weave but not in the photos

 

I agree, the painting is on silk, the backing is brocade.
It is in the tradition of old 'pien mien' fans or handscreens, like the one below. Old fan leaves are often mounted on brocade.
