chinese? shoulder boards/epaulets

    Chinese WWII army insigna bars with 3 red lines:
    1 Star = Major, 2 Stars = Lt. Colonel, 3 Stars = Colonel

    2 wider red stripes:
    1 star = 2nd lieutenant, 2 stars = 1st lieutenant, 3 stars = captain

    The box housed a medal.....be interesting to know what is says.
    Could be added value in the box alone !!
