    dear all

these bowls were for everyday use. they are often referred to as nyonya batikware. 2 of them have similar marks but the 3rd has no mark. any comments as to authenticity of guangxu (1875-1908) period?

    regards

these are the other very common kitchenware. similar pieces are still being made today. these are all 1960 or earlier, cos great grandma died in 1962. any idea on how to differentiate the older pieces from the newer pieces?

Gorgeous blue on the batik ware, Phaik. I love it. Like the newer kitchenware too, I remember seeing a lot of that here as well.
I don't think we have anyone here who knows too much about the China to Southeast Asia trade wares like batik ware, @khl889 maybe, but khl hasn't been here since august. I know it is batik ware, that's about all I know. I think the expertise is in your part of the world. I know there are experts in Indonesia, I wouldn't be surprised if there is one near you.
As for the mark, it is not detailed enough to make out which reign mark it could be. If it is a Guangxu mark, it is likely to be genuine.

I like the “folk” art look of the decoration!

I prefer your bowl. That blue is great.:)
I wouldn't worry about the mark, probably all marks on kitchen Qing are wannabe. I think they aren't really supposed to be marked, because they are provincial ware, not from Imperial or Imperially recognized workshops.
The name 'Qing kitchenware' is very much a Malaysian thing, and most were made during the late Qing dynasty. In other countries it would be called 'provincial blue and white ware'.
