Chinese Pottery Statue

Found this Chinese pottery stature today and was hoping someone might have some knowledge about it. Measures 19 3/8" tall and is 5 7/8" wide. Body is done in green and yellow glaze while the head in not glazed at all. the head is also removable. No markings that i can find.

Strange item, I can not wonder if it is a "marriage". It appears to be a bottle with a replacement head.

I agree with Greg. The head is loose, isn't it?

The "hat" doesn't look Chinese either.

 

Looks like Sancai glaze on the lower portion of the figurine.

gregsglass and Bakersgma, the head is actually seperate from the body it is not loose or broken.

Did some research and found several more like this,quite a few describing them as burial statues. Below is a link to some that sold at Skinners auction house.
