Chinese Pottery Platter - Canton Harbor

Today, I found this Chinese platter with a scene which could be Canton Harbor? with ships and buildings displaying flags from other nations.Something to do with the China Trade possibly? The label says made in Peoples Republic of China, so it probably dates to recent times, maybe 1980s or 90s. I can't find another one like it to compare. Can someone help to identify the scene? It measures 13.5" wide x 9.5" high x 1.5" deep. Thank you!

 

Yes, I have seen this before and it was identified as one of the major China trade harbors. The health warning label is a dead giveaway as modern.

Thank you for this link. I have to wonder if this was a reproduction sold at the Peabody Essex Museum, after seeing the items in their collection. They have a wonderful gift shop there.
