Chinese? porcelain teapot & vase. Mark ID, etc. please

Are these pieces Chinese?
Any ideas on the mark? Only the vase is marked.
Is that little vase....a vase?
Isn't there a name for this style of drawing/coloring? I think there is but I can't think of what it is.

Variety is a good thing, I think. I've had my avatar for too long!

 

LOL, yes I like to change it every now & then. I was dressing up my cats in a Santa costume, and that avatar picture is cropped from this picture.

I'm guilty of changing my avatar. I like Jim the goat with Dori the chicken on his back, but since it's Christmas and I'm Mrs. Claus, I had to make the switch.

Thanks, she is such a sweet kitty, she has never shown any signs of aggression, ever. She wasn't exactly thrilled with getting dressed up, but she dealt with it gracefully, LOL.
On the other hand.....my other cat wasn't exactly happy about it...
