    Hello

Got this one today. Not sure how old and when it was made. I think it is quartz stone doesn't look marble to me.
Any Asian art professionals here? Please take a look and tell me what you think.
There is damage to the noose and one ear but still looks cool.
About 10 inch high and weights a little over 13 lbs. (6 kg).
    Thanks in advance.

I wonder if the stone is alabaster.

Not sure, to me it looks more like quartz plus it is very heavy for the size. Not sure how heavy alabaster is vs quartz.

The sculpture seems to be made of quartz because its structure is crystalline.
In the Mohs scale , the hardness of quartz is 7.
Eventually with a iron tool , you in a little piece on the base could try to softly put a line with the tool. If it's quartz , you don't leave a sign , while with
    alabaster yes.
For the age , I don't know how old it could be.
Anyway , just to have a comparison , here it's a similar sculpture in travertine.
