Chinese? Leaf Dish

    I just purchased this at auction (it was the estate of an elderly gentleman). It's 11"W x 2.5"H. First...is it Chinese? Does it have any age to it? The gold is rather worn as well as the painting in a few places (sorry if the pics are horrible). I think it's so pretty! Any help is appreciated. I'll be posting another dish purchased at the same auction. Thank you!     Yes, Chinese. It's a form of 'rose canton' decoration with famille rose colours over a green celadon ground. From the Canton region of China and it will be made of porcelain. I would date it circa 1860-80.
