I know the bottom symbol is double happiness and the middle is prosperity. Is the top one longevity? Also, has this always been a lamp or was it a vase? If it was a vase...does anyone have an idea as to age?

Personally, I think this is an old vase that was drilled as was the stand to convert this to a lamp. Drilling the vase will have ruined the value.

The reason I think this, if it had been put together by a lamp company, I don't think there would have been such a large and somewhat uneven gap.

    That makes sense. Thank you!

I think the fact that it has been reduced (top cut off) would reduce the value a bit more than it having a hole drilled!

I never even thought about the top being cut off but it seems so obvious now. How old do you think it is?

It was a vase. The double happiness “囍” is used only in wedding, so this type of vase usually comes in pairs. You are right about the symbols, but this combination is quite odd in my opinion.
