Chinese jewelry box

    Hi All, I am wondering how to find out more info about this box. May not even be antique but it's very pretty and I'd like to know more.
    I'd appreciate any help with where I can search online for more information.
    I did do a Google search and found one similar but I'm stuck on where to go to from here.

    The picture with the mirror is hard to understand. Was it inside the box? Is it definitely a match or did someone put it inside? Can you show a photo of the back?

    You're right, not antique but very pretty.:) It is a jewellery/vanity box.

    Similar 'antiqued' boxes lined with 'used paper' have been coming out of China for the last couple of decades.

    Yes, that is the way the mirror is held in place. I have a Korean lacquer and MOP one with the same construction.

    Pier One for sure. My mom has the bigger one as we speak. Bought about 10 years ago.
