Featured Chinese Glass Figural Snuff Bottle

Picked up a cool snuff bottle. 2 3/4" long. Spoon is gone. Any idea on age?

 

Very cool. Found this. Don’t know about accurateness of the info (I seriously doubt it )Personally I would have guessed ‘vintage’ .. The 16th century sounds absolutely ridiculous!

Very sweet bottle, kraft.
Unfortunately the seller of the other bottle was wrong about the date. Both theirs and yours date from the mid-20th century.
It is molded glass, not carved like most other bottles of this type.

The asking price is utterly ridiculous of course. I think $46.50 is more reasonable than $465, but it is possible that it won't even sell for that price.

Here is a funny one I found while looking at molded glass examples.

 

There are a few different color fruit form snuff bottles out there. This green one sold at auction but I am not registered with the site to see what it sold for. These are being listed as 19th century or 1920's. This green one shows the spoon.

That is typically a mid-20th century spoon. The shape of the cork too, btw.

 

I have a few like that, but mine are stone and Yixing/Zisha. I may have posted one in my stone snuff bottle thread.
