    hi all

found this necklace today in our local charity shop(£2)

not really sure what cinnabar is, but thinking this must be a faux type

but they look hand carved to me because they are all a little bit different from each other

    not sure on age either

    any thoughts appreciated

These are newish beads, but they were strung in China with a classic Chinese clasp. They seem to be individually carved because they're not perfectly identical.

That's a nice export silver clasp. Real cinnabar is rather poisonous. These may be carved, but something other than the old genuine item.
