something else i picked up today in a charity shop

all levels were priced at a pound and a pound 50 each, they hadn't thought of putting them all together

i reckon late 19th but unsure, could be earlier or later

quite crudely painted but havent seen one before

    not sure the usage

    any thoughts appreciated

You’re finding some really good things Charlie. I would have grabbed these too, never seen these before either.

Depending on size I think I’ve heard they were used for ladies beauty stuffs but I could be misremembering.

I'm sure there's ones alike out there you could get at a much better price than the examples given

I don't expect to make anything near those prices

I am contemplating opening up my listings to Asian buyers soon For chinese and Japanese pieces I have saved up

It's just such a risk selling outside the UK

But that's where the money is for such things

I have no idea about eBay listings with UK origins but I believe all US listings have now been made automatically available to international buyers. They all ship through a domestic hub so the seller really doesn’t have to do anything different. Maybe someone can confirm but I think gone are the days of choosing whether or not to sell internationally. Although there could be a way to opt out. I really didn’t pay much attention when this happened.

That's a very cool find. I dunno whether I would've figured out that they were stacking bowls. :D
