Chinese Empress Banner Ink on Silk

    Apart from saying it's an ancestor portrait and looks like the real deal tome, I've got nothing. I've heard that only the Imperial Family was allowed to use a 5-toed dragon, but don't take that too seriously.

    So it must be a "famous" image. I wonder if official portraits were circulated within the bureaucracy.
