Featured Chinese cloisonne ring

Hi folks

A ring I bought on ebay last night, haven't received yet, was priced at £19, won for £15 offer

Anyone have any info on these types (haven't seen one's like it before)

Have they any age?, are they real silver?

I bought it to wear, so might only be worth that much

The adjustable part worries me a bit though

Any thoughts appreciated

Enameled Chinese export silver. Age..dunno. The center stone might be amber and might be just about anything else too.

 

They usually are gilt silver, yours is on the more modern era though.

 

I did very well on a bracelet in this general style before. The rings seem to be more common and not quite as sought after. I’m sure quality and age is a big factor though.

Forgot to say that the seller said the stone was petrified wood

Hoping it's a biggon(didn't state measurements of ring) as I can never find rings for my bigger 2 fingers

velly velly happy with it, a great size as well. doesnt fluoresce under uv, thought tiger eye at first, or maybe it is pertfied wood

fits my ring finger perfect, so not gonna bother stretching it out for my bigger fingers,

looks best on its own without any other rings anyway

 

It reminds me of that dried flower in resin jewellery of the late 60s. Except it isn't a recognizable flower, just fibrous bits.
The colour is very nice though, and a nice Chinese gilt cloisonné ring for a nice price. I agree with the others, no real age, but who cares, it is pretty.

looks marvellous today with the sun shining on it (sorry to keep banging on about it, but just interested to know for sure what the stone is)
