I'm fairly certain my deceased wife purchased this bowl in Hong Kong when she lived there with her ex. Therefore it may have been produced within the last 20 years for all I know. I'm hoping someone can provide some insight as to the type of decoration or style. There are several pits within the clay all over the body of the bowl.

I'd start out with RARE ANTIQUE KHAN DYNASTY and let the buyers sort it out

Hope that was tongue in cheek, Terry. Good way to get a defect if it isn't. :)

If you're not 100% certain where it was purchased, could it be just Asian-style, rather than actually made in Asia?

It looks to me kind of "rustic" or "primitive" or if it was from the U.S., I'd think "country" or maybe "folk." But I don't know if those terms have specific meanings that don't fit your bowl?
