Chinese Bamboo Brush Pot

    image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg I suspect something recent. Any idea what the large characters read? I wonder how was the decoration made? I don't think it is possible to have been carved by hand as everything is so small and straight.

    The three horizontal lines are the Chinese character 'San' - '3'. That's all I can say for sure.

    Been busy with other things and not much time to go look for treasures. Selling old items and this week's been pretty good.

    The big 3 words is the title of an old Chinese book, means "Three Character Classic"
    The book nowadays has been using widely in kindergartens and primary school to teach child for Chinese vocabulary
