Hoping for opinions and info. Obviously the base is a different stone by my photos. The images show red in the base but in real life it is next to black(all photos taken outside in direct sunlight). Is this soapstone? Very heavy. Any thoughts on age?

it is all made of soapstone or steatite called and they made them from the 18th century all trough the 20th century . usualy the finer ones and more detailed are the older ones.
