My dear SIS has a pattern which I have seen before, but never paid attention to, as it has orange in it. I am designing a centerpiece for her Thanksgiving table using the turkey platter from the set. :)))

The china is white, and the rather narrow border has orange and black and green in it. (Yellow?) It sounds rather 1930's-ish, but I really don't think it is. I have looked but apparently I'm not googling properly.

    Does anyone have a clue?

Is the border flowers? Geometrics? ??

Well... it is certainly not geometric...

My general remembrance of it is that there could be oranges and lemons and green leaves... Of course, it could be nasturtiums and marigolds, and frogs... :(

Do you have the platter in hand? Are there any markings on the back?
Without a photo, it may be nigh unto impossible to ID.

Nothing in hand, nor anywhere near. The funny thing is, I really do remember this pattern from quite a while ago. I had a reaction of, if one Must use orange, that is quite an attractive pattern. (Which means it is something traditional, not goofy or trendy.

MY SIL uses the color much as other people use crimson or scarlet. And in Her house, even I like orange!
