It looked to me like something from the dressing table of a leading lady in a black-and-white movie, who would later be dancing with Fred Astaire.

Now I think it could easily be much more modern than that, but treasure! Squee!

Poor thing needs a bath, though.

Cool thing. Looks vintage to me. So are you saying that you now think is a more ‘modern’ perfume bottle? Or are you thinking it’s something els entirely? Or a marriage of things? Do you think the brown sticker is maybe the original price?

By “modern” I mean it *could* be 1950’s through the 1970’s. At 8 or so, it looked like something from a 1930’s or 1940’s movie to me, but it didn’t occur to me it could be something more modern in an older style.

Looks a tad unmatched, proportions look odd and the stopper seems to be lower than the rim ???
Can you take a photo of the stopper on its own please
    ( measurements, glass or crystal ? )

A good shower of Isopropyl alcohol is definitely in order for this poor little bottle. ;):playful: :D :hilarious:

This style of bottle was very popular back in the 1960s -1970s. They were made in Czechoslovakia, Japan & elsewhere.:happy:
