Cherub Stone

I purchased this stone with a cherub on it a few months ago from a thrift store. The stone measures about 2" in Width and about 2 3/4" in Height. Is it a stone wax stamp seal or something else? How old could it be? I'm not sure if this is the correct category to list this.

I wonder if it is a type of worry stone? They are typically smooth but this one with the angel makes me think religious worry stone. Neat piece!

IMHO Looks newer to me and molded as opposed to carved.Mighty cute piece though.

 

It's definitely a stone. It's heavy and cold to the touch. It's definitely not a composite of any form.

It's definitely made from what is commonly known as a "River Rock Skipping Stone". I've used these types of rocks many times to skip rocks over water. It was molded or formed by nature, carved by man or a miracle. Thanks to all for your replies.
