This is probably an opportunity for learning so here we go, the naive question haha.

Are these Chelsea porcelain? I have never looked much into Chelsea so anybody with a bit more knowledge can help out a little. The marks are worn, seemingly in line with the wear to the surrounding gilding so I am assuming they are over glaze marks.

    Thanks for any help.

This is odd and entirely coincidental. Lately, I have been photographing figurines I've had for years. I photographed this one just now (5 1/4" tall):

I knew it said Germany on the bottom:

But I had not previously noticed the mark on the back:

I think there are enough similarities to believe yours and mine are from the same maker.

I see quite a lot of porcelain figures and you start seeing the same themes crop up. These look lovely and obviously every did haha. Every maker has some like this.

The gold overglaze marker is Chelsea, an English porcelain maker. Only issue is that it is the most faked mark there is. I don't dare call anything Chelsea, if I'm wrong I'm in trouble haha
