So yet another question from me.. When it comes to unsigned charm bracelets how do you determine their value outside of liking or disliking the piece? For example I have a charm bracelet that does not look to be that valuable to me. The bracelet itself is a thin chain link, but it does have some unique charms. I believe the hope chest may be danecraft but can't find the other charms by that maker and not having much luck elsewhere. I have several unsigned charm bracelets and would really appreciate some advice on where to start in identifying these. I do search Google and other sources and sometimes even after hours come up empty handed.

I don't know......but the lobster claw suggests it's not old....the links look like they could be bought at a hardware store...the glass or plastic beads look like it's marketed to kids....& I'd have to wonder if the charms are made of lead???

    just sayin,,,,,,:(

Is any element of this marked as sterling? It is really not a good quality piece, probably pre-made, not a collection of individual charms with meaning to the owner. How long is it? It's like something a little girl would want, from someplace like Claire's. I would not invest a lot of time in researching it.

The fact that the chain links have gaps and have not been soldered makes me think this isn’t silver. Is any of it magnetic?

Some parts are magnetic but some of the charms are not reacting to the magnet. I agree that it looks pretty cheap, especially the chain links and gems. Nothing is signed. As far as other charm bracelets...

I always thought a charm bracelet was assembled over time , by adding charms that meant something to the wearer.......I don't see that here....
    these all look mass produced...

With a few exceptions, bracelets strung on elastic are not of any value & most probably made in China. These are not those exceptions. I remember a few years back a warning going out about some jewellery of this type not being safe; think the problem was lead.

These are mass produced 'fun' jewellery, 'costume' is too grand a word for them.

In the case of these bracelets the value is in liking them only. If you like them, wear them. They will brighten your day. Jewellery doesn't have to have any value to enjoy it.
