    Found this lamp and shade at the local thrift. I had that momentary "what if it's real" chill but with just a very little looking around came to the knowledge it's "Made in China" and not worth a lot. But, it has a certain look that might be attractive to some in today's world. So, help me here with some descriptive terms for it, please. And you won't hurt my feelings if you tell me it's junk.
    First the shade:

    And the base:

    I still have to snap a photo of the whole thing together. I know the shade is noreal cameo glass. Looks like hunting dogs and silos? And the cord is very recent. I believe the base is just pot metal.

    I can't even call this a copy or a fake! I don't believe Charder or Le Verre Francais would have made a shade with dogs and farm buildings! And how would I describe the young lady clutching her chapeau? Oh, dear.

    Whatever guidance you can give I will welcome. I just hope someone out there wants this for their home!

    I think she is a pretty decorator lamp from the 1990s or later.
    The shade maybe Romanian as they were copying Steuban, Galle, as was China.

    Maybe Modern Art Nouveau in Style.

    In the 1990s there was a reprint of a Children's author. She was quite popular.

    I think the first name was Kate, but I'm not positive. Checked Kate Wiggins, that's not the one I'm thinking of.
    The figure on your lamp is reminiscent of her characters.

    @Houseful
    Thank you - Yes that is who I was thinking of.

    So more Victorian than Art Nouveau.
