Chandelier help

I just noticed there isn't a specific forum for lamps, lighting, and fixtures so I'm putting this here. Hope it's OK.

But anyhoo - My Mom bought this from a thrift store in the 60's. When she bought it, it was PAINTED a horrible light green color. As my Dad scraped a little of the paint off of it he noticed it was brass underneath, so began the long process of stripping the paint and uncovering a beautiful brass chandelier. She did tell me an antique collector had offered her 500$ after all the paint was stripped and it was in working order, thankfully she declined as now I know where I get my "once I collect something it is here to stay" .
It's been hanging over their dining room table ever since, so today when I was over there I took some pics as maybe somebody on here will recognize it and can shed some light on any information about it.
They also have a huge mirror that my Mom bought at a farmhouse auction around 50+ years ago but I'll create a new thread for that one.

Very nice .... Maybe as early as the 1930s or as late as the 50s. Probably never know who made this unless labeled somehow. Right now, people would prefer this painted ..... but this too shall pass

 

I think maybe prisms hung from those holes underneath
