We don't normally do values on this site, because things vary so widely depending on condition and location. Also sales venue. The shipping on a chair would be crazy high, so values on-line would be lower than in an antique store. Auction value anywhere local would be different again. Antique store...another price. Marketplace,Gumtree etc would be different again.

THat's once we know how hold it is, who made it (if possible) and what it's made from.

Anyone else? Bidding closes in 24 hours.

Seriously though: It is not antique, and it is brown furniture, which isn't very desirable these days.
And of course, welcome @Craig Akiyama .:) I hope you don't mind the bit of fun above.

for someone who wants a Chippendale style/Georgian looking 1980's chair, it is an ok copy. We had some out of Asia/Indonesia and one of the legs exploded - the wood wasn't cured properly. Sounded like a gun going off. The leg had a HUGE crack/split which occurred after photography for an upcoming auction. Most decent American furniture companies would not have obvious staples like this one.

I thank all of you who commented, I know nothing about furniture the chair was given to me and will probably would not fair will at my house. So if it had value I would have put it in hands of someone that would take care of it.
