Featured Ceramic biscuit barrel maker help

    42C1BFA5-3841-49D7-9CF3-B97484F8B2A9.jpeg Hi all, I am assuming this is English, maybe early 20th century (or late 19th?). There are numbers on the ceramic base and the back of the metal lid. The ceramic number looks like an English porcelain manufacturer but which one?? And what age? No other marks I can find. Measures 14cm high and 11cm across rim. I know these are very common but the number is making me think an established maker. I’d appreciate any help or suggestions.

    I'd agree on English mid to late 19th. The number is a pattern number. Chrysanthemums.

    Thanks @Ownedbybear - so perhaps a bit earlier than I had thought. I’ll keep searching - I’d assume the same pattern was used on other items so maybe I’ll find it identified if I’m lucky.
