I know it's not old, but I think it's quite pretty. Celadon and white glaze with a classic shape like the Korean museum pieces. I was hoping somebody could read the kanji mark at the bottom. If anyone is in southern Thailand and craves something Japanese at a really low price, have I got a shop for you! It's in Nakhon Sri Thammarat and called "Japan Shop" appropriately enough. Everything they sell is second hand, imported from Japan. Most stuff is pretty kitchy, but they had some really nice handmade ceramics - I bought this and an authentic bizen yaki vase for all of 5 bucks. Anyway, if anyone can read this, I'd love to locate the kiln. Thanks!
