Can't tell if it has some age or more recent?
    What do you think?
    Thanks

The color of the whole thing. Looks grey to me, as well.

    Hi,
Looks gray to me also. If it had a lid would it have been glazed to the top? The bottom looks very old and used but the body has no dings or such. I am wondering if it was not a later piece and "finished" to look older. I am not feeling right about the piece, I hope it is me and the piece is period.

It is more like green-bluish. Celadon comes in different shades.
By the way, that is felt on the foot rim. Not sure what exacly looks old to you on the bottom.
Cong vases don't come with lids. And yes, depending on the period Chinese pieces can have glazed necks and lips even if they come with lids.

    Hi Kardinalisimo,
Sorry I only glanced at the bottom and thought it was "staged" wear, now that I really looked I see it is felt. Sorry.
