Cedar Paddle

Hiya all and Komokwa,

Carved cedar paddle I believe is indigenous.
Very well made.
Komokwa what is your take on it?

well..........1st off it's not any cedar I recognize ...
2nd...it's not any NWC design I've ever seen...
3rd.... there is no NWC painting or carving.....at all.
( & there's the key...... the 1st Nations artist .....carve and or painted..... ..EVERYTHING !!)
4th....the shape of the blade reminds me more of one used in North America... a voyageur paddle.... but the handle grip is more fancy than functional....and I would not want to try grabbing that for any length of time..

& that's my take on things.......
