This is the second toy, a fire truck. It measures 14-1/2" long, 2-1/2" wide and 5-1/4" tall with the men seated in the truck.

One concern for me is the rubber wheel under the horses, did he original have that kind of wheel or an iron one?

    Thanks for any help :)

We agree with Kronos' take on your "Cast Iron Toy 1" thread, and we'd add that if you obtained this and the other item together, the odds are that if one's a repro they're both repros. But while we're still skeptical about both, we're a little more open-minded (or maybe just empty-headed) about this one. To our inexpert eyes, this item looks more precisely made, involving a substantial number of more elabourate parts, which seems to involve maybe perhaps a little too much effort and expense to justify modern-day manufacture for a fairly small number of potential buyers. Just spitballin'...

    Yes, they both came together.

I just send an email to Noel Barrett, thank you for the contact information :) I will let you know what they say.

I heard back, both are repros. The good part is I didn’t pay much for them so I should be able to make a little money on them :)

Update...sold this one today at the flea market, told buyer it is a repro. He was happy to get it, he is going to put in on his mantle as decoration :)
