Featured Cast Iron Lion Hook

    Hi,

    I have joined this forum because I'm interested in antiques and finding some bargains. Here are some lion hooks I found on a recent trip overseas. Can someone help me identify there approximate time frame, country of origin etc.?

    Any help will be appreciated. As you can see they are quite unique.

    Hi,
    Welcome. Thanks for thinking of us. Your hooks are beautiful but I am having a hard time thinking they are old. The casting looks more 20th Century. I would be happy to have them old or new.

    Silverthwaite and komokwa - I thought it looked a bit english...that's what the shopkeeper told me too.

    Afantiques - I found it in an antiques shop in Colombo Sri Lanka. Bought the 4 at the shop but no amount of googling has something in a similar style or look.
