Had to "rescue" this cast iron duck from one of the vendors at the Flea Market today . Just doing some searching on the interweb, I found a stated "Hubley" that it looks like . 1 pound 4 ounces & 4 3/4" tall but obviously no bright paint like a Hubley, just a solid crappy brown coat of paint with black painted eyes. Although some areas seem to be just a bit different than the Hubley items (especially the crooked bill) but may be attributed to wear or how the casting parting line was ground smooth? No marks at all, so what say you? Hubley or Repro? Any info will be appreciated - Thanks!

I vote repro, and not just repaint, due to lack of casting detail.

I've been comparing them to "real" hubleys and there are definite differences on alot of them but a few are really similar to this one even to the shape of the feet - that's why I was asking. Wonder if people are trying to pass them off as the "real deal"??
