cast iron cauldron

Found this huge cast iron cauldron and after google photo search found two similair ones from a 18th century shipwreck, sse last photo. My cauldron has allot of worn out places at the handles. Could it also be 18th century?

 

Dunno about age...but that's one helluva kettle!

 

yes 40 cm wide and 29 cm high, it is indeed 18th century see below

not so fast there...... they don't conclude 18th for certain.....

 

where do you see that? because what i understood in that the smaller kettle is 19th century and the other 18th century. The 3th photo at the beginning of the topic is a kettle found in a 18th century shipwreck.

 

oke so the cauldron is not 18th century.

 

what I understood....... is two items with the possible 18th slash 19th century dating...

yours may yet be 18th..... or very early 19th...... I'm uncertain....
