Cast iron bowl?

    Hi I was wondering if anyone knew what this cast iron 3 footed bowl was usee for? Ant info would be appreciated. Thank you!

    looks like it held fire...is it 4 inches across.....or 4 feet across..........

    This is a lotus bowl, maybe Chinese but oriental for sure. (IMHO:smuggrin:)
