Carved wood flat spoon thingy. who, what, where, when

    Picked this up at a thrift today.
    It is 19" long made of wood. I don't what it is. At first i thought spoon, but the end is flat.
    It looks pretty old and used a lot.
    Any thoughts appreciated.

    I have not yet found a close comparative, but I think it is probably a food stirrer/paddle. The carving looks similar to things I have seen from the Philippines - possibly Ifugao.
