    Hi,
Welcome to the board. They look like 1960s but it would help to show a drawer side so the dovetails could be checked. Otherwise it is just a guess when they were made. Are there name tags on the inside of a drawer? Really more information is needed to help with an ID.

    Hi Greg,
was told by the seller that the set was made between 1920-1925 in the US.
There are no name tags on any of the pieces. The bed has P stamp on the inside left and PP on the right for assembly purpuse i assume. A serial number is also stamped on the head&foot board.
All timber is solid including back panels of dresser&bedsides.

Answered your post in the antiques section. Said I didn't think it was American and probably 60s or later. Even with these new detail pics, I don't see anything that would convince me otherwise. Some better pics of drawer construction would be helpful, as would a shot inside the case without drawers in it. I would also like a closer look at those fasteners on the back side of that chest. The solid construction including backs just doesn't fit with this being American made unless made by a small cabinet shop. The sophistication of the woodwork would probably rule this out in most cases.

If you bought this for yourself to use, it is a very nice set. You cannot go to a store and buy solid wood furniture anymore.

As to age, I'll leave that to Brad.

& the lack of any proof to back that up.......not a seller I would trust !

I'd guess not American either; the dovetails are wrong, if nothing else. The secondary wood on the drawer bottoms isn't right either. No clue where it's actually from.

Not made like any American furniture from a factory that I have ever seen. The all mahogany construction inside and out makes me think Indonesian from the last 30-years or so. Plus it is not the type of mahogany we would see in 20s American furniture. In Indonesia, they use a plantation grown mahogany that looks like this. The drop pull is a standard pull that is widely available now. The circle pulls are Sheraton in style but seem a bit crude and maybe nickel? Typically, this type of pull would be in brass. It is a well made set but nothing about it adds up to it being 20s American.
