Carved duck, has a cool profile --any thoughts? (Not NA, right?)

    I tried so hard to leave this at the thrift, but in the end took it home. It even has some damage, some odd sticky stuff inside and a repair on the tail. Every reason to leave it at the thrift but in the end I grabbed it. It's almost ladle like, and although simple there is sort of a gracefulness to the carving. There is no way it could be Native American, right?

    I agree, it's not, but it sure is cute!

    The eye is elongated the wrong way but it would make a great candy bowl............

    The shape is very reminiscent of traditional NA sheep horn spoons.
