Carpet scraps? Or samples?

Another thing I have had around for donkey's years.
Am wondering if they might be samples, or just bits.

The first measures 8.5" x 5.75", including the fringe.
Fringe on both ends and one edge is bound, and the other may be selvage (?).

The other measures 8" x 4.5" and you can see where it was chopped.

    Hi Messi,
They would be great for doll houses. I have a few that I use for "mouse pads" for the PC.

Awfully bumpy for a mouse pad!

That first one definitely has the look of doll house décor - made from a real carpet cutting. The other one not so much. But I can't see either being a "sample."

Looks like half, or a third, of a bagface.

Did you just tell me to "bag my face"?! BWAHAHAHAHAHA

No, really, thanks for that suggestion. :)
