capodimonte lamp

    hi all, it is marked capodimonte on the bottom. I'll post better pics tomorrow and of the cord too.. the cord is an older 1..
    are there fake capodimontes?

    Capodimonte, as it used nowadays, is a catchall term for this type of pottery with putti and bright colors based on an Italian theme. The Capodimonte name is used by many companies.

    Capodimonte is a place. Pottery is still made there using the Capodimonte mark.

    However, Japan was very prolific also using the crown over N mark.

    Best to describe things as Capodimonte Style.

    Looking at the metal base and the green color, I would guess this lamp to be from the late 60s -70s.

    It helps for us to know the measurements of the items you need help with..... but a ruler would be a better prop..! ;);)

    Lucille uses a Campbell's can, which is fine too, imo. A touch of Andy Warhol.;) In this case maybe a stack of cans....
