I inherited this dining room set but not sure what era it is from. I think it is made from walnut and dates from the depression era.

Does anyone here recognize the age? 2018-11-18_10-19-13.png

1920s "Period Revival" in my opinion. Just what period is anyone's guess..............

Definitely depression era. Value is dependent on where and how you are selling. Here in my semi-rural Midwest location, I could pick up such sets for less than $250 at auction (Sometimes a lot less). At retail, maybe $400-600 max, assuming at least 4 chairs and good condition. Your location may do better (or worse). You will do better if willing to split the set up.

That is good info and advice. I am not in a rural area. If I were to sell, it would be in Canada's capital Ottawa.

Would think you could do better in your location.

It's a nice set......but as far as I remember from my Carleton days......Ottawa is still a student , politician, cop , town..... so getting a higher value in that area may be more difficult that one would expect.
You might have better luck across the river in Quebec.

Hello. I will probably do that. There are lots of folks in high-tech Kanata. I may try there too. Not sure I want to sell it yet.
