    Maybe I should clarify my comment. That item was not intended by the maker to shoot anything. Any pipe closed at one end can burn explosives and make noise, at the risk of throwing sharp pieces of metal into you when they fail, the timing of which is unpredictable. These accidents happen hundreds of times each year and some are fatal. Russian Roulette fatalities average 1 per six tries, logically enough. Fatalities involving people firing pipes and other defective cannon-like objects are much less in terms of mathematical probabilities but there's no way to be sure you aren't next on the Grim Reaper's list.

    I've seen many similar souvenir cannons and there's almost never a maker's name on them.
