Featured Candy dish?

    What do I have here? This was among my grandmothers sisters christmas balls china set but no markings?
    I suspect it's not part of the 1920s christmas balls china set due to that fact plus it's looks to have gold paint and not gold on the handle and perimeter of the dish. It's 7.5" in diameter.
    It's very nice and looks to be old?
    Does anyone have an idea what this is and it's age or any value?
    I have no use for it but it's too nice just to toss in the trash.
    Going to retire and move in a couple years and want as little as possible to move when I move.

    I can't give those away around here. I would say nuts/candy or jam dish.

    I have a similar one from my grandmother. She never used it as far as I can remember. She had it on her table for years and years.

    If there is a charitable thrift store near you, donate it to them. Many of those places benefit good causes.

    Another vote for nut/candy dish. Cottage-y cute but worth about 25 cents, unfortunately. Do donate to a worthy cause, if possible, rather than throw it away. :)
