    I have the same pattern on a vase, Mine is Royal Tara from Ireland

    Royal Tara from Ireland is basically out of business. They no longer make pieces. According to the owner they couldn't keep up with the competition and started buying similar items to sell in their "ROYAL TARA" gift shop which I hope is still there.

    I had long conversations about ten years ago with him and his U.S. representative. Both nice people. Normally I would have kept all the notes in Word, but can't put my finger on them right now.

    And, BTW, none of the markings above are Royal Tara

    Dresden appears to be the pattern name.

    This gold is covering up the manufacturer's name. Which usually implies that another company bought the item, in this case the candlesticks, and decorated them before selling under their own name.
