I bought it about a decade ago, and whoever sold it to me said it was Zulu. Knowing what I do nowadays, I think it's either from the Philippines, Indonesia or Oceania- with a good chance of being from Sumatra, Borneo or New Guinea.

The silver work is very delicate, and the floral clasp screams to me Asia.
    Any ideas?

    Brass & boar's teeth/tusks.

Sumatra, Borneo or New Guinea are unlikely imo.
The decoration of the metal looks too basic for Sumatra, wild boar is not native to Borneo, and while boar has been introduced in New Guinea, the style and use of metal are not traditionally Papuan.
My guess is the island of Luzon, Philippines. But that is just a guess.
